Board Election for a Lee County Representative of the Low-Income
Our Board of Directors has an opening for a low-income representative from Lee County.

If interested in serving on our board as a representative of the low-income, please complete a nomination form.
- You may complete the online Nomination Form OR
- Print a PDF of the Nomination Form, complete and return it via email to Community.Action@caofseia.org or drop it off at either of our Lee County Centers (Eichacker in Fort Madison or Marie Tallarico in Keokuk) OR
- Pick up a paper copy at either of our Lee County Centers and return it to them
Nomination forms are due January 26, 2023 by 4:30pm.
Voting will be from February 6-12, 2023 online or at our Lee County Centers (Eichacker in Fort Madison or Marie Tallarico in Keokuk). Current agency employees may NOT vote, however, any other Lee County resident may vote.

- People may vote in person at the Fort Madison Eichacker Center, or Keokuk Marie Tallarico Center location during those dates for a ballot.
- Election results will be announced the week of February 20, 2023.
The Community Action Board of Directors meets in Burlington or by Zoom the third Tuesday of the month at 1:15 pm. The meeting usually ends around 2:45 pm. The board has a monthly packet to review, provides fiscal and program oversight, oversees the Executive Director, approves/rejects many reports and budgets, are advocates for the economically disadvantaged, and sit on various board committees.
