**Job Opportunity: Compassionate Part-Time Nurse for our WIC Program**Do you enjoy uplifting women? If so, this position is for you! As a nurse in our WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) Program, you will function as the Competent Professional Authority (CPA) for determining program eligibility and certification. This involves assessing individual anthropometric, biochemical, and dietary data to certify or deny program participation based on nutritional risk.Your responsibilities will include:- Customizing food packages to best meet the dietary needs of individual participants.- Assisting in referring participants to other healthcare resources as needed, as well as documenting and following up on these referrals.- Providing basic information and education concerning infant, child, maternal, and breastfeeding health to participants.If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of women and children, we invite you to apply at www.caofseia.org/employment24 hours a week$20.22 an hour. Thank you Sterzing Potato Chips for your potato donation to our Keokuk Marie Tallarico Food Pantry! Pictured is Sterzing's employee and our center staff Kim. In December 2023 our two Lee County Food Pantries distributed over 131 Food Boxes to 265 individuals. 42% of children in Lee County are below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). 16% of the general population is below 100% FPL.
