Sheri and Rachel provided ROMA training to agency staff this week.Results Oriented Management and Accountability (ROMA) is a part of the Community Action performance management framework utilized across the nation at Community Action agencies. ROMA is the continuous application of data collection, implementation, evaluation and analysis. Helping in hard times: *Diana, a single mother of three, lost her job and was receiving unemployment. With her income reduced, three children to care for in the home, one of them being disabled, money was stretched very tight and she got behind on rent. Thanks to funds from the United Way of the Great River Region we were able to catch her up on rent, stabilize her household, and prevent eviction as she continued to seek gainful employment.*Name changed for confidentiality.There isn't enough funding to cover all the housing needs in our area.
